Former President Bill Clinton said in an interview Monday the mainstream media blew Hillary Clinton’s email controversy out of proportion during the 2016 presidential election.
Appearing on “Morning Joe,” Clinton discussed an excerpt from his new book “Citizen,” where he shares the rage he felt after his wife lost to President-elect Donald Trump in 2016.
“The mainstream media told the American people repeatedly that the biggest issue was Hillary’s emails. That’s what they said,” Clinton said.
