If you’ve never seen the Rankin/Bass classic Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, then you’ve lived far too sheltered a life.
The stop-motion animation feature is shown each and every year to celebrate the Holiday Season, but when examined more thoroughly, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer proves to be the most disturbing film of all time!
What other film more readily celebrates ostracizing those who are different from us? And yet we show this to our kids? Year after year? Here at 1070 WAPI, we’re not going to let them get away with any longer! It’s time for this film to be exposed!
Join Matt Murphy and Richard Dixon at the Comedy Club Stardome on Monday, December 14 for a Christmas event like no other. In the spirit of Mystery Science Theater 3000, Murphy and Dixon will pull back the veil on this heinous screed against tolerance and simple human (or, in this case, reindeer and elven) dignity.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Food and adult beverages will be available for purchase, but all you need to get in is a new, unwrapped toy that will benefit Toys For Tots.
Click here to RSVP and let us know how many you will have coming!
